隔壁两张床上也是两个太婆。
一个二次中风已经长期卧床，家人给她请了两个护工，她偶尔睁眼看看周围，但目光既无焦点也无意识。先生倒是周全的，天天都来看也说说话，其他家属也陆续有来。
另一个比我家老太太还小几年才87岁，腿部栓塞入院，意识倒是清醒得很只是话说不清楚，一打针通栓就疼得厉害，但也不闹人只自己忍着哼哼。家人大约付了些钱给隔壁床的护工们，要她们帮忙招呼着些，只休息时才来看看平时几天都不见人来。大部分时候那个太婆就自己躺着，看身体情况是比不上我家老太太87岁的时候的。
老太太一直昏迷，稍微有些许意识的情况下总是拼命挣扎想扯掉身上所有的管子。昏迷几天没吃东西，人望着就瘦完了。偶尔也会想，这样的状况下续命不知到底算是孝顺还是忤逆。
『后来我才知道，生活就是个缓慢受锤的过程，人一天天老下去，奢望也一天天消失，最后变得像挨了锤的牛一样。』
说这话的王小波正因为并未老过而显得格外才华横溢。

Today, I went to the beach with my kids. I found a sea shell and gave it to my 4 year old daughter and said “You can hear the ocean if you put this to your ear.” She put the shell to her ear and screamed.
There was a hermit crab inside and it pinched her ear.
