结果在他突然死掉之后的现在。铺天盖地全是关于向他致敬与感谢《麦田》的身影。那张摄于1951年的照片成了他的标准照，想看他别的照片？没门儿。
几夜之间，貌似所有人都在急迫地表示自己看了多少遍《麦田》，以及这本书对他们的人生带来多么重大的影响。
所以这几天我常觉得，也许是他活得太久了——应该说是默默地活得太久了。以至于他活着的时候，人们都以为他已默默地死了。因此，他真的死掉的消息传出来以后，人们这才恍然大悟地发觉他之前居然还活着，于是重重吐出一口气，然后迫不及待地四处宣布他已正式永垂不朽。
